We currently have a vacancy for an IT Technical Service Manager fluent in English, with exposure in Internet / Web Technologies, to offer his / her services as an expert throughout the corrective and evolutive maintenance life-cycle of software projects, with the perspective of undertaking project coordination and communication responsibilities.

The work will be carried out in the company’s premises in Athens, with onsite missions at customer premises. In the context of this assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated with the implementation and maintenance teams of the company, interfacing and closely cooperating within the client’s Management, Business and Technical teams.

The successful candidate will form part of a broad team of IT Experts, offering Technical Service Management services for IT systems supporting the operations of major clients of the company.

The successful candidate will be integrated in the daily activities of the Service Management Support team. Once adequate knowledge and experience of the operating projects is accumulated, the successful candidate will evolve within the team, undertaking daily communication with clients on project matters, coordination of internal technical teams, managing quality control processes and SLAs with clients, and reporting.

Duties / Tasks :

  • Assume responsibility for Service Management operations;
  • Coordinate management, business and technical meetings and workshops with stakeholders;
  • Prepare and maintain project's time-plans and quality plans;
  • Liaise with technical teams and clients and coordinate their activities concerning service management, service desk, change management, system maintenance, system architecture, infrastructure maintenance, SW inventory management, deployment & release management, testing & security assurance, communication & reporting tasks;
  • Gather, Consolidate and Document reports for service performance, system availability, incident management, maintenance activities, SLAs, resources consumption, etc.
  • using the relevant tracking tools and procedures;
  • Compile, review, and validate client requests, at both business and technical level;
  • Liaise with clients and manage expectations.
  • Requirements

  • University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field;
  • At minimum 2 years’ experience in Service Management of web development projects;
  • Hands-on experience in the development and maintenance of web development projects, for the government sector;
  • Good knowledge and experience in Scrum, Agile, Prince 2, and ITIL;
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills in English;
  • Working knowledge of Dutch and / or French will be an asset.
