Omni Calculator is a Polish startup that brings you 2500+ custom-built calculators. Each of them solves a real-life problem that, while tiny, is shared by millions of people across the globe.

Our calculators take only seconds to use and give you precisely the numbers you need.

We’re fully self-funded and not dependent on any external financing. Since our earliest days, bootstrapping has been the approach that guarantees stability and freedom in shaping the business the way we want.

We’re visited over 15 million times per month and have been covered in media outlets such as The New York Times, The Guardian, and National Geographic.

Role overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager who will be a hands-on leader responsible for the complete are of product development for a varied portfolio of projects - from developing a product strategy, planning, and setting priorities, through research and analysis to communication with stakeholders.

You will also participate in building a Product Team from scratch.

Responsibilities

  • Shape a portfolio of products that millions of people already use today, and more will use in the future. The upcoming products on our roadmap are :
  • The internal architecture and interface for the internationalization of the Omni Calculator website;
  • A mobile app;
  • A platform for teachers and students that allows using our calculators at schools;
  • A platform that allows our users to build their calculators;
  • A premium version of the existing product.
  • Shape the strategy for the development of our products and make sure it is aligned with our mission, vision, and our business goals .
  • Build a product team from scratch and organize work, lead and mentor its members. Currently, the product is in the hands of the CEO;
  • we want you to take full ownership of this area of the company and hire the team that you’ll need.

  • Closely cooperate with the development team
  • Conduct user research to understand users’ needs, and prioritize and develop a product that solves those in a scalable way.
  • Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in developing a core product or a portfolio of products that delivered substantial growth in core business KPIs.
  • Experience in ownership of a product / feature life cycle , from scratch to full launch, as well as evolution and enhancements after launch.
  • Great understanding of product management practices , feature prioritization, roadmap, and business requirements .
  • Leadership skills : you can build a team, organize its work, and introduce best practices for effective cooperation.
  • Proven experience in at least one of the following topics : media, SEO / SEM, large-scale consumer websites, mobile applications, and SaaS.
  • Engineering and UX basics - technical understanding of software development, ability to communicate well with developers and UX experts.
  • Excellent knowledge of SCRUM and experience in building agile processes.
  • Strong analytical skills - ability to read and pull your data to find key information and make decisions for your product.
  • Experience in conducting user research to collect the required data.
  • High sense of responsibility for the team and the product.
  • Great organization and time management skills.
  • You’re able to switch between a high-level strategic view of our product and manageable, actionable tasks needed to achieve our goals.
  • You’re located in Europe or are willing to relocate for this position.
  • You communicate in excellent English, both written and verbal.
