We are seeking for a Learning Consultant, who will be responsible for designing and implementing x-skilling (up- & re-skilling) initiatives according to the Talent Management & Capability Development strategy.
This role will be in contact with various departments in Vodafone Greece in order to co-design and implement new innovative approaches that enable the company to build the necessary skills for the next digital era.
Collaborating with internal and external subject matter experts, cultivating a learning-for-life culture and being on a constant exchange with the Vodafone Group for sharing know-how and best practices on the area of Learning and x-skilling.
Key accountabilities and ownership :
Designs and coordinates local execution of Vodafone’s capability development roadmap, being in contact with the Group communities around Academies and Skill Development Programmes
Ensures relentless execution of existing and new large-scale upskilling projects (i.e. Digital, Agile, Software Developer re-skilling Academy etc.)
Analyses Business Units’ current skillset and introduces reskilling programmes to equip people with the skills in demand for Vodafone’s jobs of the future
Designs and delivers customised Skills-based Learning Paths per group of roles
Introduces innovative skills development initiatives and best-in-class programmes, as per business priorities and global HR trends
Promotes a culture of continuous improvement, driving change through measuring, reporting and enhancing the effectiveness of Skill Development programmes
Builds and maintains excellent working relationships with key partners within all areas of responsibility through identifying internal customers’ needs and proposing suitable learning interventions
Maintains Analytics and Dashboard for Learning & Development activities
Skills & competencies :
Pragmatic growth mindset with project management skills, which focuses on continuous delivery and produces tangible value
Good business acumen with the ability to identify up / re-skilling needs to drive business strategy and help achieve targets
Imagination and creativity to design and put in action innovative up / re-skilling initiatives
Strong relationship and stakeholder management, and communication skills, ability to engage target audiences
Effective partnering skills with several stakeholders, co-working with different teams
Critical and analytical thinking, problem solving skills
Data analytics skills are an asset
Must have professional qualifications :
Previous experience in HR, preferably in a Learning and Development role
Experience in Upskilling, Reskilling methods, tools and best practices
Knowledge of adult learning principles and practices, assessment and evaluation, programme planning and instructional design will be an asset
Experience in a technology environment with focus on relevant skills will be preferred
Experience in agile methodology and environment will be an asset
