The role entails :
Participate in a broad range of client facing assurance projects to assess the corporate governance and regulatory compliance framework.
Develop, review and revise corporate governance policies and procedures and monitor implementation and compliance.
Assess Internal Control and / or Corporate Governance Systems against recognized industry standards and suggest actions to improve control effectiveness and process optimization.
Follow and report on corporate governance trends both domestically and internationally.
Produce high quality client deliverables (including assurance reports) and manage basic engagement economics and logistics.
Work as part of cross - functional teams within PwC to bring our clients high value propositions and delivery solutions.
Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with clients.
Perform research and participate in product development efforts for client engagement opportunities.
The successful candidate should have :
Proven experience (2 to 6 years) in a similar position or in the fields of Corporate Governance, Compliance, Business Processes, Risk & Controls or Internal / External Audit.
Excellent communication, project management, and teaming skills.
Excellent report writing and data analysis skills.
Highly motivated with an inquisitive mindset and relentless appetite to solve important problems.
Ability to express ideas verbally and in writing, in a clear, concise and professional manner, in English & in Greek.
Proven ability of working on multiple projects, managing your time effectively to deliver high quality work within tight deadlines.
A proficient user of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio etc.) and genuinely interested to develop knowledge of D&A tools (Power Query, Power Pivot, BI, Alteryx) and willing to develop these skills further.
Excellent academic background from a Greek or foreign top-tier university with background in Finance, Business administration, Law or other related discipline.
Progress towards / completion of professional qualification, such as CIA, ACCA / ACA, CFE will be considered an asset.
