We're seeking a sharp new member for our Partnerships team to spearhead our marketing activities & contribute to the growth of our developer outreach efforts for the next 6 months.
The role reports to the Partnerships Manager.
As a Performance Marketing Specialist you are in charge of developer outreach via email, social media, newsletters, content generation, blog, marketing website design.
The role is full-time for 6 months, starting asap, based in our Athens office, but we will also consider other locations within similar time zones for exceptional candidates.
Depending on your location, you will be working from our Athens office, your home office or co-working space as part of a distributed team.
What you ll be responsible for
Media Buying & Planning : Own all developer facing marketing activities Handle multiple touchpoints & channels such as, paid ads, native marketing, email marketing, event sponsorships, etc.
Create copy for campaigns Work closely with our designer for the production of top notch graphics for our campaigns & new developer-facing products - information graphics, illustrations, free reports, developer benchmarks and more
Operations & Reporting : Collaborate with the Partnerships Manager to meticulously track, report and analyse key campaign metrics weekly and monthly Monitor and optimise the performance of the survey responses funnel by monitoring all available metrics and analytics
Content Marketing and Community Growth Contribute to the Developer Economics (DE) Community by bringing innovative ideas to the table Implement the marketing plan for the Developer Economics Community to drive reach and engagement Collaborate with the DE team to source content for DE assets - manage the process and editorial calendar Streamline community members tracking, design for member acquisition plan & boost community engagement Implement the digital PR strategy to increase awareness of the State of the Developer Nation Report to developers globally SEO research and optimization

Support in growing the Developer Economics Community (reach & engagement)
Create & Implement the 2020 Editorial Calendar for the DE Blog
Demonstrate continual learning through weekly and monthly monitoring of campaign performance and actions
Optimize for cost per acquisition for survey responses across all touchpoints

What we are looking for
Skills needed :
Comfortable working as part of a distributed team across four continents
Previous experience in designing successful marketing campaigns, across a wide channel mix, especially digital media
Proven ability to deliver continually improved results through data-driven campaigns, using leading-edge analytics tools
Understanding of marketing performance metrics
Hands-on experience with marketing tools and methodologies
Solid knowledge of CRM software, email automation, & Gsuite services
Exceptional written & verbal communication and presentation skills in English
1-2 years experience in digital marketing
Resourceful & Startup mentality; ability to come up with creative solutions amidst constrained money and time resources
Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Mathematics, and / or related business or scientific field
Able to work early evenings (Europe) to speak to US partners (developers, developer communities, etc.)
Growth mindset, with a desire to learn and continually improve
Team player, agile mind-set and can do attitude
Ability to prioritise, multitask, and manage time productively
Bonus points for
Experience in copywriting for newsletter campaigns and performance marketing campaigns
A passion for technology, and understanding of how it’s impacting people’s lives
