So what’s the challenge
The SEO Lead is responsible of growing our organic acquisition channels by leading the SEO & ASO strategy as well as implantation of it across all products, while building a team and evangelizing the benefits of the channel across the business.
Your day to day will include :
Building, managing and executing the SEO & ASO strategy across all OPAP’s online products
Being the key driver of SEO related projects relevant to the teams and respective products
Serving as a direct point of contact for SEO, insights and strategy to the organization
Monitoring and evaluating web analytics dashboards and reports in order to develop and recommend SEO & ASO strategies
Sourcing, assessing & managing freelancers and agencies as well as the their costs while ensuring SEO best practices are followed by running regular quality checks
Managing the SEO & ASO budget across all products
Being up to speed with all SEO & ASO industry trends and changes, making sure that the strategy as well as function adapts quickly on them
Taking ownership of the continuous improvement of internal processes and knowledge, while also delivering feedback back to the product layer following regular site audits
Building and managing a team of organic acquisition specialists to support the rapid growth of the online products of OPAP
What you need to succeed
BSc in Marketing, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field. MSc degree is preferable
5+ years of proven hands-on SEO experience in a similar role covering content, on-site, outreach in competitive sectors.
Experience in ASO (App store Optimizations) will be a plus
Experience within the iGaming industry will be considered as an important asset
Proven strong technical SEO background (meta tags, sitemaps, redirects, geo-targeting, domain vs sub-domain differences, schema.
org, hreflang tags, etc.) with excellent knowledge of SEO tools like Ahrefs, Moz, etc as well as Google Search Console and Google Analytics
People management experience with ability to inspire and guide a team towards business goals
Highly numerate and analytical with ability to discover valuable insights from data sets and act upon
Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize work activities and adapt in changing conditions
Team player and able to collaborate effectively with multiple teams and stakeholders
Confident and ambitious with a can-do attitude
Excellent written and verbal communications skills in both Greek and English.
Experienced user of Microsoft Office and advanced user of Microsoft Excel
