Job Description
We are looking for smart and enthusiastic interns who are willing to learn cloud computing based on open source technology and grow into Junior DevOps engineer or Junior Solution Architect role.
Your profile :
Basic skills with programming, knowledge of algorithms and data structures
Basic knowledge of one or more programming languages / scripting - Java, Golang, Python, C#, Ruby, Bash, PowerShell;
Good knowledge of Linux distributions : architecture, tools, packaging system
Understanding of computer networking, knowledge of network protocols
Basic understanding of virtualization and containers
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proactive attitude
Willingness to learn fast
Good written and spoken English (Intermediate)
Will be a plus :
Proven track record of success : excellent academic record, publications, contests, own projects / contributions to open source, online courses, freelance activities etc
Experience with public cloud providers : OpenStack based, Amazon AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure
Understanding of HA principles and implementation on different levels : API, DB, Network, Storage
Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, ELK, Zabbix and etc)
Responsibilities :
Plan and deploy cloud infrastructure on top of bare metal servers using Mirantis products
Automate infrastructure services deployment on top of K8s
Develop and maintain CICD pipelines
Perform technical demo and knowledge sharing sessions with customer
Actively contribute into roadmap and backlog items for DevOps team
Work with geographically distributed international teams on technical challenges and process improvements
