Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior Automation QA Engineer (Ruby) for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Poland.

Our client is a cloud platform for business spend management (BSM). The client empowers companies worldwide with the visibility and control to spend smarter and safer.

They provide a unified, cloud-based spend management platform that connects hundreds of organizations globally representing the Americas, EMEA, and APAC with millions of suppliers.

The platform provides greater visibility into and control over how companies spend money. Small, medium and large customers have used the platform to bring billions of dollars in cumulative spending under management.

You will be part of a global agile group responsible for building the best in class SaaS platform, deployment infrastructure, and services.

The Technology Platform Team is responsible for the client’s Enterprise SaaS Application backbone. The client evaluates and introduces new technologies, and they develop features that can impact all customers, tools, and frameworks to improve processes.

ideally, working hours till 10.00 - 11.00 am Pacific time (but can be discussed)

Requirements :

5+ years of relevant experience as an Automation QA.

Strong knowledge of Ruby.

Experience with REST API web services, with JSON and XML payloads.

Expertise in testing various services hosted in the AWS cloud.

Desire to learn and work with a custom testing framework.

Knowledge of Selenium.

Nice to have :

Experience with DevOps.

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or micro-service is preferred.

Experience with DevOps tools like Git and Jenkins.

Responsibilities :

Provide automation and validation of Ruby on Rails application, focusing on the platform areas such as security, database migrations, background job processing, email processing, microservices, SSO, etc.

Design, build and improve testing frameworks, specifically for the platform areas.

Improve continuous integration processes with Jenkins, Groovy, Bash, and Capistrano.

Work closely with the development team to support unit and integration tests.

Create and evaluate test tools to improve the testing process and product quality.
