About the role
Are you excited by the opportunity of leading and scaling our Payments capability? Are you passionate to design and build new and innovative payment products and features?
Our Payments Domain is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Payments Product Manager to drive our payments strategy and bring our Payments Product Domain to the next level.
As a Payments Product Manager at Beat, you will have the opportunity to lead and manage multiple cross-functional teams of incredibly talented product owners, designers, engineers and data scientists with an ultimate goal to deliver a seamless payment experience to both sides of our marketplace.
What you'll do day in day out :
Shape Beat’s payments product strategy and technology vision, define the respective product roadmap and oversee its execution
Work closely with cross-functional teams to design, build and launch payment products and features that maximize value and deliver a seamless payment experience both to our drivers and passengers
Lead, manage and scale payments domain product development teams and their respective capabilities
Drive innovation, research and experimentation. Vigilantly follow the developments of the ride hailing and payments industries
Work closely with payments operations team and external partners to optimize payment flows, enable new payment methods and reduce processing costs
Define and proactively monitor key performance metrics to support and inform product decisions
Clearly communicate the totality of your work to a broad spectrum of audiences including executives, fellow product teams, stakeholders and other decision-makers across Beat
What you need to have :
5-7+ years of consumer web / mobile, payments or related product management experience
At least 2 years of working previous experience in the payments industry
Good understanding of the payments landscape, money movement, payment platforms, settlements and reconciliation
Experience in working with payment gateways / acquirers or other alternative payment providers
Experience in working with engineering on building fast, secure and robust payment platforms
A keen sense of user empathy combined with the ability to transform complex data and customer insights into a prioritised roadmap
Natural ability to make things happen around you. You manage project ambiguity, complexity and interdependencies in an organized and structured way
Minimum of a Masters degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or Computer Science or MBA
