We are looking for a Service Operations specialist!

Sword Services Greece is seeking for a talented and motivated individual with expertise in the areas of Business Process Monitoring, Reporting, Business Analysis, Software Delivery and Release Management, to support our Service Operations Management team .

This role will work with all key business functions and customers and is aimed to deliver actionable items to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of IT processes and services.

What you will do

  • Responsible for the business process monitoring of a variety of EU Taxation and Customs applications;
  • Capable in analyzing daily data and provide accurate and quality reports to the stakeholders on a regular or ad hoc basis;
  • Reviewing functional and technical specifications and providing relevant insights;
  • Setting-up, automating, maintaining, and owning dashboards and reports for business metrics;
  • Developing templates, guidelines, training materials and presentations;
  • Executing (partially or completely) daily / weekly / monthly / quarterly / yearly deliverables;
  • Participating and / or lead meetings, workshops and trainings with the clients and other parties (European Commission and EU Member States);
  • Providing 1st and mainly 2nd level support for EU Taxation and Customs applications;
  • Owning of the Incident, Problem & Change Management Process;
  • Nurturing and growing business relationships.
  • What is your experience

  • Exceptional knowledge in Microsoft Office tools (Excel / Word / PowerPoint / Outlook etc.);
  • Skills in data retrieval, analysis and reporting (e.g. SQL, pivot tables techniques, dashboards, etc.);
  • Hands-on experience with business metrics report generation;
  • Experience with incident management and collaboration tools (i.e. Jira / Confluence);
  • Hands-on experience in technical and functional requirement analysis;
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle from testing to release management and monitoring;
  • Highly appreciated will be the familiarity with IT Service Management and ITIL processes.
