As a Sales Development Representative at Pollfish, youll have the opportunity to significantly impact the continued growth of our company and help redefine the way marketing and advertising professionals use data to make better business decisions.

Youll become an expert in our business and products as you prepare yourself for the next step in your sales career. A key part will also be learning how leading brands and agencies utilize data and insights to understand consumer preferences.

You will also be responsible for developing your prospecting strategy and generating qualified revenue opportunities.

Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player that is excited about working for a growth focused tech company in an entrepreneurial atmosphere.

Experience selling marketing research and consumer data solutions within the advertising and marketing space is a plus but not required.

This role is ideal for an individual that is looking to start a career in technology sales, enjoys building client relationships and working within a collaborative team environment.

This position will report directly to the VP of Sales.

Responsibilities

  • Development of individual outbound prospecting strategy aligned with company growth objectives
  • Generate quality sales leads through outbound prospecting
  • Successfully manage and qualify leads
  • Secure and schedule sales meetings for Account Executives, achieving and exceeding monthly
  • Manage and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
  • Researching high profile companies and conducting outreach to CMOs, VPs, and Director level contacts
  • Documenting and tracking activity via our CRM platform
  • Requirements

  • BA / BS degree is required
  • 1-3 plus years of sales experience selling direct outbound outreach with a background in technology products (SaaS) or market research
  • Previous experience selling to US based or international customers and clients
  • Previous experience selling to B2B professionals
  • Past achievement in the new business development
  • Demonstrated ability to book client meetings via outbound email communication
  • Strong desire to work in technology (SaaS) sales
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Goal oriented, persuasive, self-motivated and independent worker.
  • Fluency in English along with excellent phone skills, phone etiquette, interpersonal, written, oral communication and in-person presentation skills.
  • Experienced working in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment
