IT Procurement Coordinator
Location : Athens, Greece / Other in Europe
Role overview : Ensures efficient procurement processes and supervises all procurement activities for the different entities.
Reports To : IT Manager Procurement

Responsibilities and Duties
IT Procurement :
Is responsible for the procurement done for the different ERPs and in contact with the different Finance and Purchase local organizations
Ensures that service reception is performed in due time
Follows-up the Invoice validation and escalation process as well as the Litigation, if any
Works with Accounting / controlling on closing activity (provision)
Ensures payment follow-up and no risk of service interruption due to bad Supplier invoice management
In coordination with Purchasing and IT Controlling :
Supports Purchasing on sourcing activity
Works together with Purchasing and IT strategy on centralizing information around the suppliers (services, contracts, supplier assessment, litigation)
Supports Budget and its follow-up process with Managers
Coordinates and follows-up certain Software License
Continuous improvement :
Applies a consistent procurement procedure, including deployment of the following sub processes : specification requirements, supplier identification, proposal analysis, evaluation of suppliers and their processes, contract negotiation, supplier selection and contract placement.
Ensures that the entire purchasing process is fit for purpose, adds business value to the organization and is compliant to internal rules, legal and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Economics, Finance or comparable field
3-5 years of practical experience in Procurement, Purchasing or Department Assistance, preferably within an IT department.
ERP knowledge and experience is a plus (SAP in particular)
Skills & Person Specification
Fluent or native English speaker
Experience of working within a culturally diverse global company
Conversant in French or another European language would be advantageous
