Sales

As Sales Engineer you are responsible for developing customer relationships, building, negotiating, internally approving and closing effectively wind turbine supply agreements.

Responsibilities :

  • Support the team of sales managers throughout the sales lifecycle, from market licensing intelligence up to the handover of a new turbine supply agreement to the construction department.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of each new project for which a proposal is to be developed.
  • Interact with multiple internal and external stakeholders to perform value engineering activities.
  • Secure the order intake by supporting coordination of the actions of the cross-functional team during contract negotiations and financial close.
  • Be the main responsible for the collection, maintenance and internal presentation of project licensing intelligence.
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor of Engineering and additional studies related to Business Administration or Commercial areas.
  • Prior experience with wind energy.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales operations.
  • Proficient in English and Greek languages.
  • Competencies :

  • Ability to show initiative and creativity in finding sales solutions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Be the face of Vestas towards selected external stakeholders.
  • Personally propelled to ensure that critical deadlines are met.
