You will be an integral part of an expanding global Growth team, and together you will grow Kongsberg Digital commercially, and contribute to accomplishing Kongsberg s mission, together with the rest of the Sales Force.

Your clients will be on different levels in their digital journey, and together you will carve out the correct way of how to start, change or continue the digital transformation.

What you will do :

  • Generate, pursue, and close new opportunities with target companies
  • Make presentations to senior managers and decision makers
  • Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closed / finalized sale
  • Liaise with Corporate to ensure that Kongsberg Digital product portfolio is adequately being communicated with the Greek customer basis
  • Accomplish annual sales targets in line with the company’s targets and priorities
  • Increase Kongsberg Digital customer and fleet penetration in Greece
  • Travel worldwide, meet potential clients, and participate on various conferences and exhibitions
  • The role will be situated in the KONGSBERG s office in Athens, Greece.

    You are a person who :

  • Have extensive experience from the maritime / shipping industry, preferably from working as an operator, within chartering or as a marine engineer, or similar.
  • Based on your experience, you should have a good understanding of the owner and operator side of the shipping industry in the local area.

    Having a good network is not a prerequisite but will be perceived as an advantage. Additionally, you should be comfortable in the sales role, and have a proven track record in consulting and selling products in the B2B market.

    The role is situated in Greece, and we are therefore looking for a candidate who are fluent in both Greek and English - orally and written.
