A Plant Coordinator is responsible for reviewing the Project contract and PMV Plant list and coordinate project mobilization with the Area PMV Plant and the Managing Offices to arrange logistics for transferring plant to specific project site.
Monitoring the implementation of plant procedures and systems as the Projects and assisting the Project management in development of specific procedures to augment contract requirements is also part of a Coordinators duties.
The position is also responsible for monitoring the PMV operating costs and productivity and carrying out analyses to identify trends and make recommendations for rectification of variances or irregularities.
A BSc in Mechanical, Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the PMV function (with at least 1 year on site) is required.
Managerial skills, commercial and contractual experience and technical expertise are qualities of a good Plant Coordinator.
