Talent Acquisition Specialist

So what’s the challenge

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will implement effectively OPAP’s recruitment strategy regarding both internal and external sourcing in close cooperation with Business Teams, ensuring the best possible outcome from the process.

She / he will be accountable for the end-to-end sourcing lifecycle of the assigned positions, acting as recruitment expert and selection process owner by ensuring that the very best candidates have been targeted.

She / he will also participate actively to initiatives related to employer branding and social media leverage as well as the development and implementation of the OPAP Internship & Graduate Programs.

Your day to day will include :

  • Working closely with hiring managers to develop a recruitment plan, gain insights into critical skills and requirements of the requested positions and build a consensus on job ads and timeline for various roles
  • Delivering a full cycle recruitment strategy from job posting, sourcing and candidate engagement to negotiation and closing for covering internal and external vacancies and creating innovative ways to attract prospective employees
  • Performing various searches to identify active and passive candidates through the use of unique tools and sourcing techniques
  • Interviewing candidates using competency based interviewing methodologies
  • Drafting, communicating and negotiating offers with the candidates ensuring high acceptance rate
  • Seeking market intelligence to gain competitive advantage in attraction and sourcing methodologies and suggesting new ideas for improving talent acquisition processes
  • Creating and maintaining a positive candidate experience from initial screening to offer
  • Acting as OPAP Brand Ambassador by creating and posting various communications and promoting initiatives to relevant networks
  • Organizing and actively participating in internal and external recruiting initiatives (e.g. university career fairs, company presentations etc.

  • Liaising with educational institutes seeking new ways to build relationships with universities, student associations and students and running Internship Program of OPAP
  • Participating in the development and implementation of Graduate Trainee Programs
  • Creating monthly and ad hoc reports on key metrics and participating actively into many HR projects
  • What you need to succeed :

  • BSc / MSc will be preferred in Human Resources or other relevant field
  • At least 5 years’ proven experience as a recruiter, preferable in multinational organization or recruitment agency
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly establish credibility with stakeholders
  • High level of integrity while handling confidential material
  • Flexible & adaptable personality with strong decision-making skills and attention to detail
  • Hands on experience with HRMS system
  • Very good knowledge of social media
  • People oriented and results driven professional
  • Strong communication and presentation skills on both Greek and English language
  • Proficient MS Office user (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking and time-management skills
  • Team player, enthusiastic & positive personality
