The Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) AG is a joint venture company established with the purpose of planning, developing and building the TAP natural gas pipeline.
TAP’s shareholding is comprised of BP (20%), SNAM (20%), SOCAR (20%), Fluxys (19%), Enagás (16%) and Axpo (5%).
The Quality Assurance Coordinator reports to the Corporate Quality Health Safety & Environment Manager (QHSE Manager) and will be based in Athens.
The role will be responsible for supporting and enforcing the implementation of the Company QHSE Policy, standards and procedures using an industry leading approach to Quality and always ensuring compliance with the relevant regulations and standards.
The position holder is responsible to support implementation and maintenance of a robust Quality Management System during Operations phase ensuring delivery of TAP commitments on time and according to requirements and interfacing with the operation to control the quality of the operations main contractors and suppliers.
Responsibilities & Tasks
Develop, maintain and implement a Quality Management System integrated into the QHSE Management System aligned to ISO 9001 and, where applicable, Quality Plans aligned to ISO 10005 for specific parts of the TAP project
Be the designated QHSE Management System Process Owner for Quality
Provide support to TAP Functions in HQ and host countries for the development of quality procedures and work instructions related to their respective work processes
Establish a monitoring program for assessing compliance to the QHSE MS in terms of Quality and lead / participate in audits and inspections
Manage and control Quality non-conformities / concessions in the TAP QHSE MS
To assist and coordinate in the delivery and / or deliver appropriate training programmes to ensure that personnel have an adequate understanding of Quality issues and are competent to undertake the duties for which they are employed
Work with the Training and Competence Advisor in ensuring HSE training and competence align with the TAP C&A MS
Support the preparation of QHSE Committees and network meetings and participate in periodical Quality meetings
Coordinate Lesson Learned process to prevent reoccurrence of non-conformities
Support the preparation of QHSE Plans and programs, assist in preparing Quality strategies and developing internal policy
Maintain TAP Process Map
Work with Quality specialists of key contractors in ensuring Quality issues are being appropriately implemented with key contracts
Carried out internal QHSE audits
Preparation of QHSE reports
Coordination Business Continuity Plan
Provide support to TAP Functions on the definition of the KPIs applicable for each process
Ensure that site documentation is maintained, controlled and records maintained to ensure ongoing compliance with the requirements of ISO 9001
At least 5 years’ experience in the Oil and Gas / Energy / Petrochemical Industry with evidence of time spent on a fully operational site
Applied project experience in a similar operational site environment
Experience from similar pipeline projects will be an asset
Experience from Hydrocarbon Processing Facilities construction projects will be an advantage
Excellent Computer skills i.e. MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, MS Project)
International quality standards

Excellent communication, negotiation and persuasion skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize between competing issues
University degree in a Technical area (or equivalent)
Professional lead auditor qualification
Italian, Albanian or Greek (basic knowledge) will be an asset
