Real EstateStrategies Team Overview :
The selectedcandidate will join Resolute Asset Management’s ( Resolute ) Real EstateStrategies Team which provides advice and implementation support to banks andreal estate investors with their distressed real estate (REO) and non-performingreal estate secured loans (NPL’s), including preparing asset business plans,underwriting NPL portfolios and managing REO monetization strategies.
The RealEstate Strategies Team works closely with Resolute’s Advisory, Asset Managementand Special Servicing Teams to incorporate the full range of Resolute’sexpertise in the solutions provided to our clients and to generate businessopportunities across the firm.
Working withthe Head of Real Estate Strategies, the successful candidate will manage andexecute mandates from initial pitch through to execution.
This individual willbe the primary day-to-day client contact for designated mandates and theinternal team leader with overall responsibility to plan, allocate resource,monitor progress and deliver high quality results on time and within budget.
Execution ofmandates including oversight of business plan preparation, NPL underwriting andREO monetization
Leading andmanaging internal transaction teams and co-ordinating with external third-partyadvisors (legal, tax, etc.)
Businessdevelopment and origination across Resolute’s products and services
Managementrole within the Real Estate Strategies team contributing to strategy, businessplanning and budgeting, technology / data initiatives and team leadership,recruiting and development.
BA / BSc degreefinance, accounting, engineering or real estate related discipline
MBA, CharteredFinancial Analyst (CFA) or equivalent (preferred)
10+ years of relevant experience in real estate private equity, development, advisory and / or consulting in the real estate, or investment banking
Track recordof client management and transaction execution
Demonstratedexperience leading teams and ability to work with and adapt to differentEuropean regions and cultures
Strong managementskills with the ability to influence and engage direct and indirectcollaborators and associates
Strongmentoring and coaching experience of teams with diverse levels of expertise
ExcellentEnglish written and verbal communication skills; an additional Europeanlanguage is strongly preferred
