BEAT is a mobility app that started approximately 10 years ago in Greece. We are currently owned by FREE NOW, a joint venture between Daimler and BMW.
We currently have operations in Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Peru and Argentina and office site in Amsterdam. We are approximately 700 employees (and growing!)

About the Role
Beat is looking for a Global Corporate Communications Manager to lead all internal and external global communications. The purpose of communication is to make Beat available in the minds of our stakeholders, especially within the minds of our passengers and drivers.
This is done by influencing and leading the public opinion in relevant choice situations through communications strategies that extend beyond just earned media.
Important in this role is to be proactive and lean into the most sensitive and challenging opportunities both within as well as outside of Beat, anticipating and setting a high bar for business impact of envisioned communications.
What You'll Do
Accountable and acting as lead for key global PR & Communications priorities linked to Beat’s business objectives.
Define external comms priorities, in collaboration with local PR representatives and local PR agencies and develop and manage the annual communications roadmap in perfect sync with the marketing strategy.
Execute flawlessly against this established roadmap with local and global stakeholders and through managing and motivating your team of 2+ (senior) communications specialists.
Collaborate with Beat’s senior leadership team and other senior leaders in the organisation to establish and drive the internal communications calendar to influence, educate, and inform employees.
Be a strategic and tactical partner, especially for complicated and sensitive communications affecting the whole company like, involvement in change management projects covering internal communications workstreams
Guide storytelling efforts for key projects across the company and develop compelling campaigns and content to support global initiatives
Embed our recently developed brand positioning internally and activate against this. Being an ambassador for the unique Beat culture, driving employee involvement and engagement.
Handling or management through direct team of all existing internal communications activities and channels like information chats, all hands meetings or internal celebrations
To bring your narratives to life, you will be required to work together with our internal creative team and write detailed briefs in sync with our global integrated marketing managers and strategy to ensure consistency across channels.
What You'll Need
University degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or similar
At least 7 years of relevant professional experience in the field of internal communications in global organizations.
2-3 years of experience in managing a small team.
Proven experience in the development and implementation of internal and external communication strategies as well as handling of different communications channels including digital formats and new technologies
Very high proficiency in English. Spanish is very much preferred.
Outstanding proven writing skills for creating presentation, writing speeches, and internal comms
Experience in an international environment, preferably fast moving tech company
Self-starter attitude - you boldly pursue your work and love the responsibility of being personally empowered
About the Team
The Beat Communications team is looking for a Global Comms Manager. This is a highly collaborative role, in which you are expected to work closely with local PR specialists and PR agencies, Integrated marketing managers, creative teams, local teams, senior Beat leaders and of course your corporate communications team.
You will report into the Global Marketing Director. Also there is the opportunity to make tremendous contributions to Beat’s aggressive growth ambition and there is a high degree of autonomy.
