ISS, in the framework of strategic expansion, is looking to add in its constantly growing team a Health & Safety Engineer.
The aforementioned position will be located at our Client’s site in Aspropyrgos . The client concerned is one of the largest industrial companies in Greece.
Fully implement and monitor Client’s EHS Management System in conjunction with ISS EHS policies and procedures
Follow all Client / ISS Health & Safety policies, procedures, protocols, rules and manuals. Ensure they are adhered to and regularly reviewed, updated and communicated to all parts involved.
Coordinate the investigation of incidents, near misses and unsafe working conditions. Review the circumstances of any work injury, illness and dangerous events, identify any corrective action
Monitor and implement the process of issuance Work Permits and reinforce the necessary corrective measures
Evaluate all sites’ OHS Risk Assessments and implement relevant requirements
Be responsible for the training and coaching of new and existing personnel on internal or other OH&S Technical Instructions, Policies and Procedures.
Ensure full and accurate OHS training records are maintained
Assess all subcontractors in relation to OH&S issues and be responsible for their induction and training on Client / ISS EHS Management System.
Cooperate with Client EHS Team to ensure the implementation of Client’s safety culture in all procedures and policies.
Report in Velocity (ISS Global EHS Reporting Tool) the necessary OH&S KPIS.
At least 3 years’ experience as responsible of EHS in an industrial environment, preferably in manufacturing environment
BA / BSc in Engineering or similar field
Postgraduate degree in Occupational Health and Safety
Certified OHS Professional
Approved training form Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH)
Excellent knowledge of English. Proven use of Business English is required (via occupation in working environments where English is utilized)
Excellent PC Skills with proven proficient use of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word.
