Job Purpose

  • Develop and embed robust Market / Channel specific Demand Planning processes to support the new Supply Chain Operating model.
  • Manage end to end the Demand Planning (both volume and value) across all Consumer Healthcare categories to improve customer service levels and to reduce end-to-end COGS and working capital
  • Lead Demand Planning input into the market and coordinate the Core Commercial Cycle (CCC) meetings
  • Lead the Market Demand Review Meeting and provide Demand Forecasting input into the Core Commercial Cycle
  • Establish a robust demand forecast across a 24-month horizon analyzing channel drivers, Category drivers, Market drivers.
  • Lead significant projects to transform the demand forecasting capability and output, in line with the commercial requirements.
  • Participate in other initiatives to deliver the operating model and associated benefits.
  • Key Responsibilities

  • Own the Demand Planning process across all categories for a 24 month horizon, including NPI
  • Ensure full deployment of statistical forecasting in GR organization
  • Run forecast meetings for MI and ensure forecast visibility and finance alignment for MI
  • Maintain a detailed knowledge of all components of the Demand Forecast : Statistical baselinePromotion and repacking uplifts and cannibalization effectsSales and Marketing intelligenceNew Product IntroductionsConsumption, stock in trade and market data
  • Ensure full volume and value alignment of market Demand Forecast, including samples
  • Interpret the key trends impacting market, sector, category and brand performance
  • Lead Demand Planning input into the key Market Core Commercial Cycle (CCC) meetings
  • Lead Demand Planning input into the 3 / 1 Planning cycle with responsibility for the delivery of a detailed volume Budget in Year 1
  • Challenge the sales input to forecast and ensure that the volume and value forecast are aligned
  • Interpret the key trends impacting market, sector and category performance
  • Facilitate alignment and verification of sell-out and Stock in Trade evaluations by sales channels.
  • Lead an effective product lifecycle management process
  • Maintain product status from pre-launch to obsolete
  • Lead process to clear residual and slowmoving stocks with commercial teams
  • Cooperate with Finance on definition of financial plan (Year Plan, quarterly and monthly review)
  • Provide expert Demand Planning input into the Customer Supply Chain Lead and develop effective working relationships with in-Market Warehouse & Distribution and Customer Service & Local Customisation teams
  • Build strong network of contacts with senior managers in the Commercial, Supply Planning and Category teams
  • Lead Demand Planning expertise across the scope of CSC Lead
  • Knowledge / Education / Previous Experience Required

  • University degree or equivalent in Business
  • Proficient in Greek and English
  • 1-3 years’ experience in demand forecasting & planning
  • Breadth of supply chain experience will be considered an asset
  • Strong analytical skill, problem solving skills
  • Ability to influence diverse stakeholders and build trusted relationships
  • Proven skills to manage a high degree of complexity in changing environment
  • Excellent analytic mind, able to manage, analyze and interpret complex data to drive decision making. Attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing, negotiation and problems solving skills with ability to contribute fully to cross functional team
  • Service focused and strong customer orientation. Good understanding of Pharmacy channel and FMCG environment
  • SAP / Planning system experience preferred
