Role purpose :

We are looking for a Multinational Account Manager to create long-term, trusting relationship with our customers. The Multinational Account Manager will manage the local customer relationship for a portfolio of Vodafone Global Enterprise (VGE) customers, across Vodafone operating companies, in order to develop new business from existing clients and actively expand new sales opportunities.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership :

  • Leads account planning and strategy development for a defined portfolio of Vodafone Global Enterprise accounts supporting and aligned to the global account plan (as defined by the Global Account Manager, Regional Account Manager and customer).
  • Drive accelerated revenue growth by identifying potential markets for new and existing products and services.
  • Identify and pursue sales opportunities and leads which may come from meetings, clients, other sales force or vendors.
  • Maximises internal network within Vodafone to get results for customers and to ensure effective problem resolution and problem management.
  • Deliver high standards of general account management for new and existing business accounts on their premises, through our innovative technological solutions of IoT and ICT.
  • Ensures Net Promoter Scores (NPS) for accounts are met and exceeded.
  • Helps to create new revenue streams from new products, via partnerships and by selling through accounts.
  • Understand different customer profiles and demonstrate ability to match.
  • Core competencies, knowledge and experience :

  • Maintain expertise of internal procedures and systems (e.g. Salesforce) for acquisitions and managing the progress of quotes through VGE commercial processes to contract production.
  • To have the ability to manage own time to ensure market and product knowledge is up to date.
  • Ensure sales and churn targets are achieved every month.
  • Proven experience gained within a business sales channel (must have minimum 5 years B2B sales experience).
  • Must have technical / professional qualifications :

  • University degree (Master degree will be an asset).
  • Fluent knowledge of English language (oral & written).
  • Driving licence.
  • Computer literate.
  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written.
  • Experience of identifying customer requirements and developing creative and innovative customer-centric solutions with an international context will be considered as an asset.
