As such, Kontakt.io is seeking the best talent of Senior IoT Embedded Engineers to play a key role in our New Product Development.
You will be involved with both the development of new designs and the evolution of current products to the Cloud.
Your role as a Senior IoT Embedded Engineer will involve :
development and customization of firmware for embedded processor applications against customer requirements.
embedded development including battery-powered, microcontroller-based, wireless radio applications
performance of unit coding and integration of embedded firmware
development of communication protocols and hardware (Bluetooth Low Energy)
development and validation of product firmware, bootloaders and test code.
development and support of test environments for system-level testing
interface with third-party companies to enable integration of their technologies with the Kontakt.io portfolio of products.
experimenting with the newest IoT, and AI technologies
The ideal candidate would be passionate about building IoT products. You must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment.
Our requirements :
Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
experience in writing firmware in C / C++ on a variety of microcontroller platforms and one or more scripting languages like Python
low-level software development experience.
knowledge of Unix / Linux environments and embedded Linux
experience implementing and debugging low-level drivers and communication protocols for hardware serial interfaces
experience using lab equipment
basic soldering skills
understanding of techniques for performance optimization of firmware for power consumption
experience with IoT and Connected Products is a great advantage
sense of urgency and the hunger to experiment and create
fluency in English
