Our team combines industry knowledge, subject expertise and extensive experience in operational strategy formulation, operational effectiveness, project management, procurement transformation and supply chain optimisation, cost management and collections and receivable management.
Our client base consists primarily of large and medium organisations.
Due to the continued growth of our practice we are now recruiting a high calibre Senior Supply Chain Specialist for our Customer & Operations Consulting team in Athens.
The role entails :
Be a member of large projects around the areas of digital operations and supply chain transformation, supply chain strategy and execution, manufacturing excellence, multi-echelon inventory optimisation, last mile target operating model, strategic network design
Shape and deliver projects to meet and exceed the expectations of our clients and our own quality criteria
Produce clear, persuasive and concise documents for senior audiences
Participate in the quantitative analysis, assessing the depth required for an individual work-stream on each assignment, translating the analysis into useful findings and quality assuring the results in conjunction with project leadership
Responsible for managing the development of junior team members during the length of each project and identifying opportunities for them to grow and build their skills
Be involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new / existing clients
Continue to develop internal relationships and developing the PwC brand
What we are looking for :
3 - 6 years years of relevant working experience in the following disciplines : Supply Chain optimisation, Logistics management, Procurement transformation, Operations excellence, Cost management, Production planning and control, Supply chain analytics use case deployment
Experience in solving supply chain / operations optimisation problems using mathematical modelling tools such as AIMMS, GAMS or dedicated software such as Supply Chain Guru will be highly regarded
Excellent academic records from a Greek or foreign top-tier university with background in Engineering, Supply Chain, Management Science, Supply Chain Analytics, Operations Research or related discipline
MSc on a related discipline from top tier business schools / PhD in supply chain management will be highly regarded
Thought leader in supply chain and operations processes / practices / systems, tools / methodologies; viewed by clients as an expert who they turn to for help and advice on their most difficult issues
Excellent business analytical and problem solving skills
Experience with ERP, APS or MIS systems will be highly regarded
Mathematical modelling and understanding / experience with Python and / or R will be highly regarded
Adaptability and agility to change; Innovative, thoughtful and enthusiastic attitude about learning on different industries and markets
Commitment to providing excellent quality work and building client relationships
Confident and positive attitude, focused on teamwork and communication with colleagues and clients at all levels
