A fantastic opportunity for an Associate Finance Manager to join RB's Health Business Unit. * Please note that this is a 6-month fixed-term contract
Key parts of this role will include :
Monthly Financial closing process and reporting for management
Monitoring performance and providing accurate and timely monthly variance analyses across all P&L lines between actuals, budget, latest forecast and prior year by customer and brand
Safeguarding integrity of financial reporting by ensuring appropriate internal controls are in place and operating effectively in accordance with corporate policies and procedures
Marketing spending, including processing and analysis of marketing accruals
Monitoring brand performance indicators, highlighting trends and analysing causes of variances vs. budget, forecast and prior year
Improving brand performance by analysing / evaluating ROI, pricing, mix, COGS and NPDs
Corporate planning and creating quarterly forecast by brand and full P&L
Being responsible for trade spend elements of the monthly close including processing and analysis of the accruals
Participating in corporate planning and quarterly forecast exercises for both customers and brands
Working closely and supporting marketing director and category teams
Providing timely and accurate financial information to key stake holders for decision making purposes
Ad-Hoc projects and analysis
Monitoring monthly stock levels, with accurate reporting and reconciliation
Collaborating with other departments by collecting and providing financial information
Using accounting concepts, wide-ranging experience, analytical skills and knowledge of industry to resolve issues in creative and effective ways
Ensuring that appropriate judgment is applied in developing accounting estimates and accruals related to revenue and expenditure cycles
Is this You?
University degree in Finance
Post-graduate degree (Desirable)
ACCA qualified (Desirable)
At least 5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably within FMCG
Very good understanding of MS Office
Very good verbal and written communication skills in the English language
Analytical, numerical skills and attention to detail
