The Role

The Sr. HR Generalist is responsible for supporting in Greece our key HR imperatives in the context of business and talent growth strategy, by being a trustful and high-

quality HR advisor to employees and managers across divisions and functions. The role reports to the HR Manager, Greece and has direct partnership with the different centers of excellence in Europe for Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Compensation & Benefits, HRIS and local Payroll outsourcing vendor.

Duties

Key responsibilities include :

  • Implement locally global HR Processes (performance review & development planning, compensation, recruitment, and others)
  • Manage talent acquisition & employer branding activities
  • Organize employee onboarding plans and onboarding training sessions
  • Be a digital ambassador by ensure all people related processes are delivered via Workday HRIS
  • Oversee administration of local compensation and benefit plans (medical, pension etc.), time and absence plans
  • Manager the external Payroll vendor & ensure quality of receivables and service is maintained according to SLAs
  • Ensure compliance with local labour regulations (local authorities’ representation, annual reporting, employee files, contracts, certificates etc.)
  • Qualifications & Skills

  • University Degree from in Psychology, Business Administration or other discipline.
  • Postgraduate Degree in Human Resource Management
  • Minimum 5 years previous experience as HR Generalist within a multinational, matrix structured organization
  • Experience in an organization with manufacturing facility will be considered a plus
  • Experience in a digitalized HR environment with working knowledge of a modern HRIS technology is necessary. Workday knowledge will be considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships, communicate effectively with all levels of hierarchy and ability to foster teamwork within a matrix structure and across countries
  • Must be able to work independently, to coordinate and prioritize multiple assignments.
  • Ownership, accountability and results orientation
  • Excellent knowledge of business English (verbal & writing).
  • Advanced Computer literacy (Ms Office- especially PowerPoint & Excel, Internet, Web based tools etc.)
  • Experience in CSR activities & HR communication is desirable
