Volantes Technical Recruitment, on behalf of our Greek based Private Jet client have the role of Business Development Manager available.

This role would be based in their main office in Athens

The Business Development Manager will have responsibility of overlooking projects and project developments within the business.

The Role will require the successful candidate to have management of Sales, Operations, Marketing and Financials within the business and to report this to the board of directors on a regular basis.

This Role will require a strong level of Job experience in management and knowledge within the Private Jet Industry.

The role also requires that the post holder has a sufficient market knowledge of the private jet markets in Greece / Cyprus and the Mediterranean.

Main Duties

  • Manage the day to day activities of the company
  • Manage the team based in Athens.
  • Source appropriate solutions for the companies s day to day activities especially in high summer seasons.
  • Extensive knowledge of different aircraft types, and understanding their capabilities
  • Generate sales and business opportunities from potential clients
  • Strategize to close sales and business development opportunities.
  • Relationship management with clients and suppliers
  • Provide excellent and customised service to the clients.
  • Supervise the creation of a Business Plan for future projects.
  • Expand the company’s presence in the sale and purchase market of private jets.
  • Some tasks that you may be required to do are :
  • Sales and Business development
  • Client retention
  • Attend trade shows to represent the company
  • Conduct market assessments to prioritize potential customers and new markets.
  • Office administration as appropriate to support the sales activity.
  • Revenue budget management.
  • Manage a cost budget.
  • Basic requirements and qualifications

    General Management experience is essential alongside customer account management and business development. Previous experience as a consultant / General Manager for a minimum of 3 5 years is a pre-requisite as well as strong knowledge of the private jet business.

    Good knowledge of the English language both written and spoken.
