Business Process Expert Purchase to Pay (BPE P2P)

Role overview : Business Process Experts (BPE) are part of the BPO Team to design, pilot and roll out the Opera Core Model (Opera project is a multi-million euros ERP project setting the standard for Imerys for the next 15 years).
The Purchase to Pay (P2P) BPE belongs to the Opera P2P team made of 5 people on the business side that daily work with Opera P2P IT team (5 people).
Its main role is now to contribute to enrich the design of the Core Model if providing added value, to provide training and support to the P2P wave leads of European entities during rollout phasing.

Responsibilities and Duties
During the Rollout phase, Go Live and Hypercare period :
In interaction with the solution architects (internal and integrator), the business consultants, the other division representatives (among which Wave leads) and the BPO :
Enrich together the design of the Opera Core Model and define the best way to set up the SAP S4 system to cover the business needs in a standardized way.
Gather and build the business requirements for ERP functionalities including reporting and master data business rules.
Identify Organizational impacts in the divisions.
Analyze training needs & participate in building / updating training materials for business process purpose.
Participate actively in the presentation of the system and in the preparation with the Wave leads for the execution and validation during the rounds of testing in the build phase and UAT’s (User Acceptance Tests).
Support the Wave leads during preparation, go live and up to 3 months after go live ( hypercare period).
Acquire a good understanding of the SAP S4 Core Model system.
Qualifications & Experience
Education and experience requirements
Bachelor or Master Degree
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position (project, accounting, procurement...)
Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage
Good knowledge about system setup, the process and transactional aspect; is used to input transactions in the ERP and retrieve information from the ERP.
Practiced in at least one country, ideally more than one.
Is a functional person (not IT) but is keen to work on ERP’s and IT applications.
English speaking (fluent)
Ability to travel in Europe ( 30%)
Ideally would have the experience of an Accounts Payable accountant and of Procurement, and to some extent purchasing (tenders), inbound logistics.
Experience of working within a culturally diverse global company.
Knowledge of one or more other languages is a plus.
