Job Title : Sales Representative

Department : Sales Global Tools & Storage (GTS)

Job Title of Manager : Commercial manager Traditional / Exports

Location : Athens, Greece

Result Area The Sales Representative is responsible for selling products & meeting customer needs. For these product lines he / she is responsible for the revenue targets and the first contribution margin.

Job Responsibilites

  • Serves customers by selling products and meeting customer needs.
  • Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
  • Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.
  • Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of wholesalers / dealers.
  • Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Forecasting and Inventory Management

  • Develop, manage, analysis stocks and sales reports for distributor
  • New Product Launches :

  • Coordinate with Marketing teams to make sure all NPI’s are commercialized
  • Shopper Marketing

  • Develop shopper insights for Key accounts.
  • Working closely with brand team to merge shopper insights with consumer insights to come up with winning strategy
  • Coordinate with GCX for working out artworks for all major programs and implementations
  • Accountability

  • Ensure that the company’s overall strategy is aligned with key customers
  • Ensure an optimal communication and relationship with all internal and external stakeholders
  • Achieve targets defined in OP plan, drive growth plans and identify new sales potentials.
  • Competencies & Skills Required Candidate Requirements :

  • 3-4 years Industry Sales & Key account management experience / FMCG Powertool sector will be preferred
  • Bachelor degree with a concentration on Marketing, Sales promotions & Business Administration
  • Strategic and break through thinking
  • Results oriented / Meeting sales targets
  • Good communication & Team management skills (able to communicate with all disciples, internal- and external)
  • Analytical skill
  • Negotiation & Closing skills Territory management
  • Knowledge of Ecommerce and Digital environment
  • Fluent in English / Greek.
  • Key Internal Relationships

  • Key Relationships with all levels within the Greek Organisation, in particular with the Marketing and Supply teams.
  • Cluster Regional Teams (SEMEA)
  • Key External Relationships

  • Collaboration with external agencies (if applicable for specific customer network)
