Position Summary

The Web Developer will manage local standalone applications for market initiatives which will in turn improve performance of the Nespresso eCommerce responsive site and mobile application.

He is responsible for the configuration in time and quality of the regional and local campaigns, landing pages, new pages, A / B Tests, the setup of analytics & other tools and overall Customer Journeys’ content, in a consistent and relevant manner across all touchpoints and in alignment with the performance marketing activities.

A day in the life of...

Manage daily performance of eCommerce platforms

  • Manage quality assurance and usability
  • Ensure a fast, updated, bug free user experience on all eCommerce platforms, following International eBusiness guidelines
  • Solid understanding of JavaScript to develop workaround for master site. Flag any risks associated with local workarounds and / or hacks
  • Develop short code snippets for improvement of the user journey
  • Understand and run local Market Acceptance Tests (MAT), both front-end and back-end and contribute to ways to streamline and find efficiencies
  • Drive local web developments to increase membership and conversion

  • Drive development of A / B test implementations in Google Optimize, as defined by eCom Analyst and E-Commerce Manager.
  • Collaborating with HQ when necessary to successfully launch tests with the objective of improving the customer site experience.

  • Work with internal or HQ teams to solve for major issue affecting conversion rate, new member activation, or availability of the products or the platform
  • Oversee digital asset management & HTML content to support global & local campaign activities as defined by the eCommerce roadmap, while ensuring B2C website is leveraging the most relevant practices, content & features.
  • Local landing page development (HTML, CSS, JS), ensuring all Nespresso design and technical guidelines are followed and in line with industry best practices (knowledge of responsive frameworks and designs)
  • What will make you successful

  • University Degree in Computer Science or any other related field
  • Best-in-class knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript development & bundle frameworks
  • At least 2+ years of experience in CMS (SAP Hybris preferred), eMerchandising, A / B Testing & Personalization
  • Knowledgeable in Front End Development and ideally Back End (Full Stack)
  • Advanced knowledge of PHP frameworks
  • Experience in SEO optimization is a plus
  • Exposure to Google Analytics
  • Adobe Photoshop tools knowledge is a plus
  • Fluency in Greek & English (Written & Spoken)
  • Advanced understanding of User Experience & Usability
  • Strong communication and project management skills required
