The primary focus of the PA is to provide project level systems analysis with an emphasis on Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) documentation activities.

Applications in scope include in-house customized GXP and non-GXP software systems as well as COTS (Customized off the shelf) GXP and non-GXP systems.

The PA will manage project requirements in our Application Lifecycle Management (ALM-QC) tool as well as compliance requirements in our Information Protection and Risk Management (IPRM) tool.

Additionally, the PA will coordinate application testing activities which in some cases will require preparation of testing related deliverables such as verification plans, scripts, and summary documents.

The PA will provide necessary levels of support to ensure that applications maintain compliance as defined by global regulatory authorities and Pfizer Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

The Project Analyst collaborates with other Digital disciplines and service providers including Digital client partners, architects, software engineers, Digital infrastructure teams, vendor partners, and Digital shared services.

  • Align with Stakeholders to document and manage project level requirements including business, user, functional and non-functional requirements in support of the Research & Development organization.
  • Engage with project teams and quality assurance colleagues to organize compliance activities to ensure timely completion.
  • Leverage templates as guidance to ensure completeness of documents.
  • Participate in a matrix, team environment with Pfizer colleagues as well as vendor partners.

  • Contribute to the group’s evolving best practices.
  • Keep abreast of new technologies to ensure Pfizer’s technology landscape stays current.
  • Meet / Exceed the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.
  • Education :

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Technology Management, or relevant disciplines required.
  • Prior Experience :

  • 3+ years’ business analyst experience contributing to projects
  • Can quickly learn industry trends and end user demands from pain points and stays up to date with current trends, best practices and new technologies
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability of accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on

    Basic Qualifications :

  • Knowledge of feature prioritization techniques
  • Foundational knowledge and methods to identify, engage, and build empathy with their customers, and apply these methods to their daily work

  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Willingness to work either informally or formally contributing on various-size teams of technologists, IT professionals or project managers using Agile, DevOps, and other approaches for iterative development
  • Ability / desire to collaborate and work effectively in team settings, frequently in virtual teams with client partner and customer engagement responsibilities
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Education in Life Science-related field of study
  • Internship experience in product development or product management showing ownership of feature delivery, or graduate of the BT rotational program
  • Good understanding of Pfizer's Business Technology
  • Strong analytics skills and knowledge about the biopharmaceutical industry
