ICAP Employment Solutions, on behalf of its client, an internationally leading company, is seeking to recruit candidates for the position of Document Controller on a prestigious Interconnector Project.
The document controller / administrator is responsible for all document exchanges between Company, Customer and Subcontractors and for ensuring that there are consistent document management routines and processes in place.
The areas of responsibility include :
Being the owner of the documentation process and documentation control inside the project
Ensuring that contractual requirements regarding document standards are met
Being responsible for setting up the agreed document management systems and processes in the project in co-ordination with the client and project teams
Being responsible for following up and monitoring the project documentation and supporting the project works
Being responsible for the stylistic aspect of a document including grammar, spelling and layout of text documents
Being responsible for the submission and preparation of the final documentation packages as per contract requirements
Attending and recording meetings on and off site (e.g. at Client or Subcontractors premises)
Taking and issuing site meeting minutes
Translating documents from English to Greek and vice versa
Assistance with report preparation and issuance
Academic degree preferable within business administration, industrial clerk or technical background
Experience with document control of HV cable projects and tenders
Basic knowledge in project management
Very good Greek and English proficiency, both verbally and in the written language.
IT affinity especially in the field of Document Management Systems (preferable M-Files, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat DC Pro)
Being well structured and flexible
Good team player, able to work across the organization and having an open mindset
Stress resistant and willing to go the "extra mile"
Excellent command of the MS office package
