We are looking for a Compliance Manager to support Group Companies implementing regulatory requirements also covering GDPR and AML ( anti-money laundering) areas .

Responsibilities :

  • Develops the compliance framework and advises executive management on its implementation;
  • Establishes standards and policies to ensure that Group Companies are adherent in identifying, preventing and correcting non-compliance with applicable laws and regulations;
  • Advises management on core compliance issues; escalates same where needed and manages their resolution ;
  • Promotes a compliance culture throughout the Group companies : raises awareness of business divisions on key compliance issues ;
  • Acts as point of reference for all information and actions concerning data protection regulations (GDPR) ;
  • Reviews all functional areas within the Group to ensure that internal policies and procedures are in line with the applicable legal and regulatory framework and that operational and systems controls are adequate;
  • Performs compliance assessments across Group companies; periodically reviews the internal control system and recommends revisions to address compliance issues, identifying hidden risks and non-conforming cases ;
  • Guides management on suggested changes to data protection (GDPR) practices based on updates to current legislative and compliance regulations;
  • Undertakes DPO role;
  • Promotes internal awareness on key compliance issues; develops and delivers the annual compliance staff training plan .
  • Requirements

  • At least 10 years of Compliance experience, preferably with a Legal background;
  • Proven track record of developing corporate compliance policies and procedures, GDPR implementation and AML monitoring;
  • Expert knowledge of leading practices and developments in the regulatory environment and evolving best practices in compliance control, including AML and GDPR areas;
  • Experience in managing compliance risk factors and embedding them in the design of business operations;
  • Experience in representing areas of accountability to external stakeholders
