As a Brand Manager you will report to the Marketing Manager of Italy and dotted line to Greece BU Country Manager.
This role offers you the opportunity to drive growth to your assigned brand or group of brands in your market by leading the execution of the brand marketing for a brand in line with country commercial strategy as set by the Area.
As a member of the marketing team, you will be given extensive and diverse responsibilities across the marketing mix and will play a key role in driving the execution of the brand strategy in your market.
Key parts of this role will include :
Define the strategic direction of the brands together with Marketing Manager
Manage the brands marketing activities to reach the annual brands objectives
Analyze consumer research, draw conclusions and indicate actions
P&L Management and budget control
Monitor activities of key competitors
Manage the relationship with advertising agencies and other partners
Be responsible for the achievement of financial and market share targets for a group of brands in the market
Work across functions including Area, supply, sales and finance to develop and execute successful commercial plans
Manage initiative development and activation of local brands in the portfolio including development of new products, consumer and shopper communications
Generate and propose business development initiatives for the brands based on consumer, shopper and market understanding
Support the Trade Marketing team in the implementation of the store-format activation plans or optimizing product assortment and promotional strategy
Support the Sales team in creating customer presentations and meeting customer requirements
Requirements & Personal Attributes :
University degree in Business Administration / Economics / Marketing; Master’s degree in Marketing will be considered a plus
At least 3-4 years of experience in a multinational environment, preferably within FMCG sector
Fluency in English (an International experience during the studies or work is highly valued)
SAP knowledge will be considered a plus
Commercial understanding of business issues / opportunities
Strong analytical skills with ability to develop strategies, tactics and measurable implementation
Experience in developing, implementing and measuring success of promotional activities
Strong Consumer Research knowledge
Strong interpersonal,communication & leadership skills
Capable of building strong working relationships & influencing stakeholders
Can-do attitude and entrepreneurial spirit
