We are currently looking for a Data and Analytics Lead to join our dynamic and highly motivated Technology team in Thessaloniki.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
In your role you will oversee the development and use of data systems.You will be responsible for the quality of the work done by you and people reporting to you, acting responsively and autonomously within multifunctional teams, organizing and scheduling tasks as efficiently as possible with a clear, empathic, and impactful communication style.
You will have the responsibility to share your experience and knowledge with younger colleagues, leading by example in the realization of our ambition : make an impact that matters".
To fulfill this role, you will have to be able to :
Identify, select, and customize the most useful tools for collecting and analyzing data and developing solutions to support the Deloitte teams' goals.
Lead a global data and analytics team of 10 -15 members and work with a distributed workforce
Proactively interpret the customer's needs, identifying the most suitable methodologies and approaches for their best satisfaction and supporting the project Manager in their transformation into project priorities and action-plans.
Devise and implement efficient and secure procedures for data handling and analysis with attention to all technical aspects
Identify potential project issues and promptly share them with the rest of the team.
Formulate techniques for quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy, and legitimacy of data
The ideal candidate has the following requirements :
A Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Computer Science / IT or related field
Fluency in concepts and techniques about Cloud Data Architecture
Experience with Azure platform and coding in SQL, Python and / or Scala
Demonstrable experience leading large scale Data & Analytics teams
Experience in data modeling design
Ability to lead and implement data collection & data processing efforts from start to finish
Strong project and process management skills with proven ability to deliver against expected milestones
Strong product management experience, including app instrumentation, data analysis and agile development standard methodologies
Over 15 years working experience in application development and data architecture and design
Preferable but not mandatory :
Considerable experience with other cloud platforms
Additional soft skills required :
Analytical skills and problem-solving aptitude
Confident in decision making and the ability to explain processes or choices as needed
Familiarity with modern database and information system technologies
Familiarity with insurance industry business processes
Organizational skills, resourcefulness, and creativity
Being team working oriented
Excellent communication skills and ability to build solid relationships with individuals at all levels, in multiple geographies and business functions
Experience in managerial positions including hiring and people management
Flexibility, willingness to travel
