To support its ambitious growth, Hanseaticsoft is currently looking for a Technical Sales Manager in Greece.

The purpose of the role is to develop new and maintain existing relationships with ship-owners and technical ship-managers in your predefined geographical area.

You will be reporting directly to the Sales Director of Fleet Management.

In this role we will also need collaborative working with sales teams across the Maritime business in Lloyd’s Register group to support in maximising client bases and achieving growth plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve key activities and targets as set by the Sales Director
  • Accurate customer record management in Sales Force
  • Positive and effective communication is essential across all departments
  • Work at Local, National and International trade shows to promote and sell Hanseaticsoft’s solution and services
  • Demonstrate the solution to potential customers in virtual and on-site meetings.
  • Convert enquiries to sales and manage the ongoing customer relationship
  • Manage up- and new sales.
  • Manage new orders through the entire sales process
  • Report on sales pipeline
  • Identify additional client needs which can be supported by other Maritime products and services
  • About you

  • A strong business oriented and sales driven profile, with technical and preferably maritime background, who can drive and realize a high growth potential .
  • A good understanding of the maritime industry, preferably ship-management.
  • Previous experience of marine technical sales, pro-active approach to work, a hunter mentality and a commercial mind-set are all seen as essential skills
  • Ability to communicate in writing and orally, clearly and precisely.
  • Proficiency in English and Greek is a must.
  • Ability to explain and present complex systems, products and functionality clearly and simply.
  • Ability to understand and empathise with different cultures.
  • Commercial acumen.
  • A self-starter who is highly pro-active and inquisitive
  • Willing to travel domestic and if required globally. Travel up to 50-60 days per year.
  • Team player and collaborator who makes effort to collaborate with other key LR stakeholders and commercial team members.
  • Person who can pursue upsell and cross sell opportunities across LRs products and services
