PeopleCert , global leader in assessment and certification of professional and language skills is seeking for talented a ICT Manager to lead our ICT Team.
The primary role for the ICT Manager is to ensure the smooth operation of the ICT department in alignment with the business objectives of the organization.
The ICT manager will plan, direct, coordinate and design ICT-related activities, as well as provide administrative direction and support for daily operational activities.
You will be responsible for managing small and large scale projects, relating with systems and networks, ensuring both the highest level of the ICT services provided and the delivering of the new projects on time.
The ideal candidate should possess relative hands on working experience in technical issues coupled with an understanding of business and management principles.
Create an IT roadmap and action plan for future growth and supervision and development of ideal IT systems having cooperated with Chief Architect and PMO.
Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness
Preserve assets, information security and control structures
Ensure security of data, network access, upgrade, and backup systems
Maintain current and accurate inventory of technology hardware, software and resources
Document the systems and network infrastructure providing user training on various applications such as Call Center usage
Responsible for managing the end-to-end IT operations of the organization, including planning, organizing, directing and evaluating the operations of information systems and electronic processing.
Troubleshoot all technology issues, setup and manage help desk support for staff within the organizations.
Manage IT staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations, appraising their performance and developing their career plans.
Regular review meetings with all the key stakeholders to evaluate how current systems and applications work, update on IT actions and take their inputs to improve the technology solutions, implementation and adoption.
Approve from technical perspective and handle IT vendors used by the organization,
Maintain all logs and / or lists required by ISO 27001 and Business Continuity and consults in triggering the Execution plan and monitoring of its progress and resumption
University Degree in Informatics Technology or relevant field, Postgraduate Degree will be considered a plus
More than 10 years as IT manager or Technical Solution Provider in big organizations.
Excellent understanding of Microsoft Cloud architecture, implementation, and configuration
Excellent knowledge of Call Center installations
Excellent knowledge of network security installations
Very good knowledge of CCTV installations
Active MCSE certificates at least on 2 major technologies (cloud based preferred)
Competency on 2 or more virtualization platforms and consolidation techniques
CCNA / CCNP or relevant network competency certification
Project / Change management competency
IT best practice competency
Excellent command of the English language (C2 level certification desired, or C2 IESOLcertificate would be a plus) and excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Well organized, strong teamwork approach and team motivator, self-driven, flexible and able to work in a high-volume, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment.

Working on Home Office (HO) Secure English Language Tests (SELTs)
If working on the SELT service in the UK, background checks will include : A basic or enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check Right to Work in the UK check (including nationality, identity and place of residence) HO security check (Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) or Counter Terrorist Check (CTC) Financial background check Employment reference check.
If working on the SELT service anywhere in the world (outside of the UK) personnel will undergo background checks that are equivalent to those stated for the UK.
