Workathlon is recruiting a Private Chef on behalf of a well known Yachting Company located in Athens, to provide the guests of their 35 sq.
m Luxury Yacht with amazing dishes of gastronomic delights. The position is Seasonal May - October, with 2 days off (days will be determined according to the booking schedule of the yacht).
A private chef is responsible for preparing and cooking meals for their employer(s) and their guests. All duties associated with this responsibility are more often than not assumed solely by the personal chef, although in rare cases a personal chef may manage a small team that they are able to delegate some of these tasks to.
On occasion, personal chefs are also called upon to organize special events such as dinner parties and birthday celebrations.
They must know how to maintain high sanitary standards, purchase and store correctly the appropriate ingredients for their recipes, have an abundance of experience with different cuisines in order to produce high-quality dishes.
Previous experience as a Private Chef on a yacht 3+ Experience as a Chef in high-quality Restaurants or 5* Hotel Good knowledge of the English language Ability to produce different kinds of dishes Performance under pressure without compromising quality Professional character and appearance Polite and friendly manners
