About the role

Welcome is hiring for a Internal Sales Manager (based in Athens). The role of the Internal Sales Manager is a managerial sales-

oriented as the main task of the position is to close as many partners (i.e. hotels), who will promote the Welcome. The position reports to Head of Partnerships.

The Inside Sales Manager will monitor sales metrics and manage the entire sales process. He / she will collaborate with various professionals, so it’s essential that they have excellent communication skills and feel comfortable working in a team environment.

He / she should also be able to lead and motivate the sales team to achieve specific goals.

The Inside Sales Manager should be able to build a high-performance sales team to ensure customer satisfaction and sales KPIs.

The position requires a strong entrepreneurial spirit and an exceptional aptitude in sales and team management. Some travelling will be required.

Experience in relevant roles is highly appreciated.

Here are a number of things that you will be expected to accomplish :

  • Manage the Internal Sales Representatives team
  • Coach, train, evaluate and monitor Inside Sales Representatives performance
  • Prepare, monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts
  • Generate new business opportunities and manage pipeline
  • Report on sales metrics and suggest improvements
  • Identify industry decision makers and build relationships
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly KPIs
  • Help develop sales strategies and messaging to increase new partnerships opportunities
  • Build an open-communication environment for your team
  • Hiring and training Inside Sales Representatives
  • Attend and / or host local industry related events
  • About you

    The successful candidate will have proven sales track record, previous experience in managing effective sales teams and a comprehensive understanding of the travel market.

  • Proven work experience as an Inside Sales Manager
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and team management skills
  • Advanced sales skills with the ability to think creatively when challenged
  • Result-driven with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Excellent command of English in both speaking and writing
  • Preferred Skills

  • Strong network of contacts in hospitality / travel industry
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Experience in CRM and pipeline tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality
