This role resides within the Pfizer Digital R&D Creation Centerand will work under the direction of the Drug Safety R&D / Comparative Medicine / ACD Creation Center Leadsupporting R&D Acquisitions, Collaborations, & Divestitures (ACD).
This Program Manager is responsiblefor delivering against ACD business development strategy / internal realignment strategies from an R&D domain perspective.
This role requires strong collaboration in a matrixed environment, across a team of other Digital teams and business subject matter experts.
It also requires the ability to work independently with a focus on high quality deliverables and a strong sense of accountability.
This role will require the ability to adapt to change, apply principles to past experiences, and desire to work in an environment which requires quickly adapting as requirements and priorities evolve.
Thisrole is responsible to manage and deliver against ACD and restructuring projects in partnership with Client Partners, other Digital Teams, service providers, team members and business stakeholders.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Contribute toSmall to Large programs in the R&D ACD space as they relate to integration or separation of data, systems, and laboratories
Partner with internal and external teams to execute plans for new R&D lab facilities, site consolidations, or site closures in support of restructuring strategies across the globe
Maintain program plans and timelines in a rapidly changing space
Work with business SMEs to disposition data, applications, and assets to Pfizer target repositories
Coordinate and execute source to target application mapping and migration to Pfizer systems and databases, including consolidation of software licenses into Pfizer global licensing.
Coordinate and execute unstructured data migrations to Pfizer shares and repositories
Documentactivities related to data archival and system retirements via detailed tracking of work activities performed, system documentation, and summary reports
Develop and execute against plans
Facilitate transition to BAU at the end of programs by ensuring Pfizer repositories are updated, support models are in place, detailed work packages, system documentation / knowledge transfer occurs
Coordinate Pfizer standardization of acquired laboratories, including benchtop computer standardization, working with infrastructure to define and implement R&D standards for servers, data storage as needed at acquired sites
Establish strong relationships with key partnering organizations (including but not limited to Digital Client Partners, Creation Center Staff, EP&S ACD Leads, various R&D business line organizations to ensure delivery of objectives
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
3+ years of proven relevant project management experience delivering small to large projects
Technical experience with infrastructure and WRD drug development principles
Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively
Flexible and able to shift gears as necessary to meet aggressive timelines in a fluid environment with changing priorities
Excellent oral and written communication skills, consensus building, facilitation, negotiation, and the ability to readily learn a new business area, detail oriented
Proven relevant experience as an information technology professional in one or many roles such as a software developer, systems administrator, project manager, computer engineer or support specialist
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Demonstrated competency inSoftware Development Lifecycle, business analysis, and detail oriented documentation
High level of awareness of Acquisition, Collaboration, and Divestiturework packages, specifically in relation to WRD
Experience managing technology resources to meet goals across multiple projects
Demonstrated experience managing consultants across multiple vendors
Proven experience working and building relationships across matrixed organizations
