Activities as a QA Engineer / SET at FSI :
Work as part of a self-organising SCRUM team to develop new features and functionality
Analyse business requirements and specifications of complex systems
Prepare test cases and generate automated acceptance and functional tests, complying with coding standards and practices
Select test frameworks and implement test automation tools to improve the efficiency of the testing lifecycle.
Adhere to standard operating procedures to ensure consistency in the way we test software
Engage with the developers to identify critical / high risk areas
Contribute to the planning process, establishing tasks and forecasts for work
Work closely with development teams to diagnose issues, resolve defects, and make sure that product releases are up to expected standards
Provide reports on levels of test coverage, testing progress and quality metrics
Produce and communicate test exit reports, issues and risks

Required skills :
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent
Ability to develop simple / medium test scripts, search in logs, execute simple SQL for data setup or data search
Meet at least one or more of the following competencies :
Experience in testing web services (REST) and usage of corresponding tooling utilities
Experience in applying automation frameworks using tools such as : junit, Cucumber jvm, Rest Assured, TestNG or similar
Competency in Quality Assurance concepts : test planning, test case design, test case prioritization, test case execution, bug reporting & tracking
Strong problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
can do attitude combined with self-motivation
It would be great to see some of the below :
Familiarity with Unix / Linux
Exposure to Agile Software Development and processes
Experience in testing both back-end systems and front-end GUIs
Understanding of Docker, Maven, Jenkins, and Git (Gitlab)
Understanding of continuous delivery
A commitment to quality across the software lifecycle
