BEAT is a mobility app that started approximately 10 years ago in Greece. We are currently owned by FREE NOW, a joint venture between Daimler and BMW.

We currently have operations in Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Peru and Argentina and office site in Amsterdam. We are approximately 700 employees (and growing!)

Starting in 2022 BEAT will expand their New Verticals business model in other cities and countries. This consist of a fully owned fleet, employed drivers and highest quality of services and safety.

About the role

At Beat, our People Analytics team is at the center of using data to help our leaders make smarter, data-driven, people decisions.

We aim to drive actionable insights across all employee lifecycle aspects : recruiting, selection, onboarding, development, retention, rewards and recognition, culture, and attrition.

We are looking for an experienced data analyst to play a critical role in synthesizing people data into actionable information.

In this role, this individual will be expected to both be hands-on with querying / visualizing data and also bring their expertise to partner with the wider people team and business stakeholders.

About the Team

We are looking for a Senior People Analyst to join our People Analytics team, a crucial function that helps guide the success of a broader People team strategy.

The function is fairly new and has a lot of potential to contribute to Beat and our employee’s success. Ultimately, you care most about using people data to ensure Beat remains a great place to work!

What you’ll do :

  • Storytell to bring actionable insights to stakeholders in the business and people teams to support high engagement and top performance
  • Collect and compile HR metrics and data from various sources, including the human resource information system (HRIS), Applicant Tracking System (ATS) employee surveys, exit interviews, employment records, government labor statistics, competitors practices, and other sources.
  • Use analytical tools and algorithms to analyze people data, create models, and develop ad-hoc analyzes
  • Manage access security for our analytics and visualization platforms
  • Formulate data-driven recommendations and tie people priorities to business outcomes
  • Build intuitive interfaces and visualizations that optimize for ease of storytelling and deriving actionable insights
  • Train and educate people partners, recruiters, and stakeholders on using and deriving insights from the people analytics products and services
  • What do you need to have

  • A passion to make an impact on seamless mobility for a safe and sustainable urban life (our mission).
  • 5+ years of experience in data / analytics roles, particularly in transforming people data into business insights and recommendations using analytical tools
  • Thorough understanding of people data sources, structure, flow, uses, and limitations
  • Strong business acumen. Ability to understand Beat’s business and how data can inform our people and business objectives.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with data across a variety of stakeholders to drive decisions
  • Expertise with relational databases, data warehousing, SQL, and proficiency with Tableau
  • Experience in using R / Python for building models and predictive analytics is preferred
  • Technical understanding of data warehousing / relational databases, business intelligence, and distributed applications / systems
  • Data-driven and highly analytical - you're able to translate data and insights into a meaningful story to drive strategy, action, and decision-making at an executive level
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to drive projects through end-to-end
  • Self-starter attitude - you boldly pursue your work and love the responsibility of being personally empowered
