The Business Analyst is the vital link between information technology capacity and the business objectives. We are looking for an accomplished business analyst with in-
depth experience of completing detailed business process analysis and requirement gathering to enable the delivery of complex software development projects.
Main Responsibilities :
Define configuration specifications and business analysis requirements along with reporting and alerting requirements
Understanding, designing, documenting and maintaining business processes and workflows and their relationships to current and future software solutions.
Report on common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations to product team
Assisting business users, project managers and leadership in optimizing the scope, benefits and risks
Support development teams to ensure a solution meets its business requirements
Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the customer
Read and interpret documentation such as requirements definitions, installation instructions, technical articles and procedure manuals
Ensure all documents are reviewed, clarified, organized, and conformed to organizational standards
Required skills :
University level degree (or higher education institute) in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant field of study.
Expected to have 5+ years’ experience in Business / IT Systems Analysis
Proven record in gathering and documenting business requirements and translating them into IT business solutions.
Knowledge and experience in the Insurance industry will be considered an asset
Certification in Business Analysis will also be highly appreciated
Ability to function in an agile development environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills
