We are transforming our current architecture based on micro-services architecture, using more than 40 microservices all dockertized and deployed on AWS.
For this exciting task, we need your help as Solution Architect.
ABOUT THE JOB
The Architecture team is ultimately responsible for the delivery of both front and back-end tools and features that would enable growth via digital sales channels targeting all actual and potential TUI customers travelling around the world.
Additionally, and derived from the very nature of the process, the team oversees the definition of new features, new channels, and monitoring, improving, and managing any related issues arisen from the sales process and IT applications that take part on the activities.
As Solution Architect you will responsible but not limited to collaborate with business partners and IT personnel to design and develop solutions, communicate architecture through key solution architecture documents and maintain as per future changes.
Guide for development teams along the way in best practices in development, testing and dev-ops. Ensure overall quality of architecture solutions throughout the development process share and present architecture to cross-functional teams.
Lead with the example take ownership of the solution and shouldn’t be scared to get directly involve into development when needed.
Ultimately test new technologies especially provided by AWS through proof-of-concept work and demonstrated ability to work on multiple project efforts simultaneous.
You will be identifying and implementing improvement architectural practices in an agile environment and mapping the discrepancy between the current processes and the desired state to continuously innovate the IT processes and to adapt them to market trends.
You are an active member of the global Architecture communities. You love to learn and acquire new skills and you enjoy teaching others.
You are not afraid to get stuck in and work directly with teams you hate being in an ivory tower.
