Human Resources (HR) Specialist

This HR Specialist position is a great opportunity for your career!

We are looking for an HR Specialist to join our team in our operations in Thiva to provide professional support in functional areas of Human Resources (HR), which include recruitment, onboarding, training, personnel records, employee relations, regulatory reporting requirements, payroll, benefits administration and other areas as needed.

Position Reporting to : Sr. HR Supervisor, SC & Business Expansion, GRE Commercial, MENA & Bulgaria

Key areas of Responsibilities :

  • Prepare and review HR department policies, procedures, and structures.
  • Stay up-to-date and comply with changes in labor legislation
  • Support the identification of the plant’s and commercial markets, hiring needs and assist the recruitment process to ensure it runs smoothly.
  • Conduct interviews, Prepare outcome, using the right tools, short lists. Arrange for pre-employment assessments.
  • Manage Hiring Documentation, such as Employment contracts, other according to local and company requirements.
  • Performs employee onboarding to include data entry into the HR Information system and new employee orientation.
  • Manages the daily input of the employee attendance, vacation, overtime, in local HR Master System, as well as input the necessary daily employee info in the Labor system (Ergani).
  • Resolve employee personnel inquiries and submits necessary inputs, changes, additions and deletions into the HR Information System.
  • Reports unusual or unresolved problems toSr. HR Supervisorfor further action.

  • Process performance reviews, wage / salary transactions and disciplinary actions in the Company’s HR information system in a timely manner and within approval authorization.
  • Maintains records of insurance coverage, retirement plans, and personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, terminations, and other related personnel and payroll issues.
  • Provides guidance to employees on company HR policies and procedures (e.g. Time Off with Pay, other). Respond properly to their queries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Communicate with Subcontractors and other vendors to assure proper supply of employees to successfully support with capable personnel all plant’s departments on a daily basis during the production process.
  • Proper coordination and communication with department heads at the end of the month, to summarize the use of subcontractor employees and prepare necessary direct labor usage & reports.
  • Supply the accounting department at the end of the month with the necessary Man-hours report concerning Company’s employees, for proper End Month closing.
  • Prepare the necessary documents to provide external Payroll vendor, for the proper and timely execution of the WC and BC employees for both plan and commercial units.
  • Drive employee engagement in cooperation with Sr. HR Supervisor in the areas of HPC and GHI.
  • Assist Sr. HR Supervisor in Designing and implementing effective training and development plans. Maintain records of employee participation in all trainings and development programs.
  • Assist the performance Management process and improvement systems. Setting up goals MBOs & SLS, and evaluation process (Midyear / End year) of Mgmt.
  • team and second level, as well as all other WC and BC employees.

  • Handles employee relations events, as well as recognition. Also Management meetings and Core Group meetings.
  • Assists and works on all relevant paperwork needed to ensure successful SMETA Disney audits, as well as ISCC Audits.
  • Identify sustainability opportunities. Assists in arranging a Sustainability week once a year.
  • Support various projects such as Technicians’ Certification, Skills Matrix, and use of ProProfs system.
  • Requirements :

  • University Degree necessary (Business Administration, HR or relevant field)
  • HR Certification a plus
  • 5 yrs. Human resource experience in personnel issues, staffing and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge Labor legislation and compensation and benefits
  • Strong knowledge of payroll
  • Experience in HR management within a manufacturing environment a plus.
  • Experience in an International Environment preferred
  • Experienced in developing and mentoring others.
  • Languages : Fluent in English
  • Proficiency in computer skills : internet, MS-Office XP, Excel and Outlook
  • Knowledge of Time Master, Ergani System, Work Day system, People Soft
  • Familiarity with various incentives and benefits

  • Proven work experience as an HR Specialist or HR Generalist.
  • Regulatory compliance and reporting
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail and
  • Deadlines in a fast paced and pressured environment.
  • Possesses a high degree of drive and achieving results.
  • Strong Quantitative and Analytical skills.
  • Communication and presentation skills in conjunction with organizational spirit and method, ownership (flexible and action oriented).
  • Commitment to ongoing HR Learning.
  • Communication skills in Human Resources (facilitating discussion between employees and employers).
  • Critical Thinking skills
  • Have an Ethical approach of Human Resources
  • Human Resources organizational skills.
