Description
lmw, in cooperation with IBM Greece, are seeking for Core Banking System Developers to join the Finacle European Center of Excellence and participate in the first implementation of the new Core Banking System based on the Finacle international SW solution, for a major Bank in Greece.
Finacle is a leading core banking software with a rapid expansion in Europe and it is a unique opportunity for the candidate to join the first Finacle European Center of Excellence and gain specialized skills in a market area with significant demand worldwide.
Responsibilities :
Work as a member of the Finacle / IBM team responsible for the Finacle package customization and report to the Finacle development lead and the IBM Project Manager
Be responsible for the investigation and resolution of findings arising from the user acceptance test
Be supported in the daily activities by an IBM mentor with significant experience in Finacle. Teams are mixed : Indian / Greek
Upon project rollout you will be expected to join the IBM / NBG team working on product upgrades and maintenance
Extensive training on the product will be provided by Finacle including the project processes and procedures. You will be expected to reach certification level at Finacle within 6 months.
Requirements
A BSc / MSc in Computer Science, Information Sciences, or related field
1+ year of testing experience
1+ year of experience in Jira
Experience in Java Script (Vanilla)
Experience and good understanding of Database concepts
Experience in Database development using SQL and / or PL / SQL
Basic coding skills using C or C++
Exposure on any Web technologies, HTML, Java Scripts, etc.
Very good English knowledge
Ability to effectively work with others to achieve project objectives
