The Aircraft Logistics Manager will be instrumental in the planning and development of a tactical air training capability in support of MQ-9 Missions for the US Air Forces in Europe (USAFE).
As the capability and solution are developed, this position will migrate into the daily logistics management for multiple sites in Europe.
This role has the option to be on a Rotational Schedule or Full-Time schedule based on selected candidates' interests. The selected candidate may also work up to 84 per week as requested.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Responsible for providing and manage cost-effective logistics systems that includes all class of supply and transportation necessary to ensure MQ-9 availability.
Responsible for utilizing the Military Distribution System and the Government Assigned, in accordance with DLM 4000.25 Volume 6, October 03, 2017 Change 9, page C2-6 and page C2-7 Table C2.
T2 page C2-ll, fully funded Contractor DoDAAC for shipping, receiving and turn in of Government Furnished Equipment and Contractor Furnished Equipment.
Accountable for utilizing the fully funded contractor DoDAAC for purchasing and managing Class III (B), in accordance with DLM 4000.

Responsible for daily logistics support to air operations in the execution of tactical air sorties meeting the customer's requirements.
Plan and forecast logistics requirements to ensure the highest possible rates of tactical air sorties to meet the customer's forecasted requirement.
Supports local ancillary purchases to sustain and enable operations.
Develops a process for maintaining the accountability and condition of tools and test equipment.
Ensures an effective Maintenance Support desk for tool / equipment distribution and accountability in accordance with policies and procedures.
Establishes a theater-appropriate Quality Assurance Program for tactical air training assets.
Responsible for ensuring receiving, turn-ins, packing, and shipping actions are conducted under IAW standard procedures.
Generate purchasing paperwork within computer systems.
Process all incoming / outgoing material, both physically and systematically in computer systems.
Verify items received by comparing the document to part / serial number, condition, and quantity.
Ensure compliance with import / export actions.
Monitor and maintain HAZMAT and HAZWASTE materials in accordance with DOD and Environmental policies.
Supports strategic supply chain direction by understanding and applying company policies, operating procedures, and IT solutions.
4 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 2 years relevant experience with Masters in related field;
or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.
Former logistician with a military fighter aircraft squadron.
Proven understanding of property accountability and ITAR procedures.
Ability to interface at all levels of command and leadership on a regular basis.
Effective interpersonal skills to coordinate efforts and work with other internal and external organizations.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Clearance : Must have a current active SECRET security clearance.
College degree in Aviation Technology
Airframe and Power Plant knowledge
Extensive writing and oral communication skills
Demonstrated flexibility and ability to adapt to changing organizational needs
