The team you'll be part of

Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).

Our unit is responsible for connecting Nokia and our Customers using different IT technologies. As more and more services are delivered remotely and data collections becoming essential for digitalization and AI / ML, connectivity and the attached ecosystem are critical for business success.

What you will learn and contribute to

You will join a team which covers the connectivity deployment from pre-sales, over dimensioning, until handover to the support team.

That includes managing customer meetings, close cooperation with other teams and process driven proceedings.

Are you passionate about solving problems?

As part of our team, you will :

  • Collaborate with project managers on designs, deployment status, risks analysis and security topics
  • Analyse and troubleshoot deployment issues in a timely manner
  • Work with Solution Managers and Business Users to translate functional specifications into technical designs for implementation and deployment
  • Provide problem-solving expertise including RCAs and EDAs
  • Ensure deployment is executed in accordance with Nokia security standards
  • Your skills and experience

    You have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in :

  • Networking VPN (IPsec, SSL), L2 and L3 networking
  • Virtualization VMware
  • Operating Systems Linux Red Hat, Windows Server
  • Security Firewall management, Data protection, socks, proxy
  • Scripting (optional) PowerShell, Bash, Ansible
  • Hardware & Software deployment
  • It would be nice if you also have :

  • Virtualization OpenStack
  • Database Management System Oracle DB, Maria DB
  • Cloud Solutions focus on MS Azure
