Large Corporation, leader in in its field is looking to hire an Automation Technician / Engineer, based in Athens :
Position Summary :
This position will include performing installation works, controls service and the commissioning of projects. You will be working closely with automation engineering team to implement and maintain automation systems for our customers.
This will include programming and control troubleshooting of various systems.
Working in projects related with Electrical Vehicle Charging systems, E-Mobility and cloud platforms.
The desire to be a contributing member of the team and ability to think outside the box to provide solutions for the customer is a must.
Essential Position Functions :
Perform Building Automation System integrations
Perform IoT solutions for new and existing controls systems
Troubleshoot system issues and deliver / recommend solutions to customer and / or complete implementation
Perform preventative maintenance and calibration on system components
Perform system database maintenance and back-up / restore functions as needed
Ability to troubleshoot controls system components utilizing standard hand tools and digital metering or calibration equipment
Working knowledge of PCs and computer networking
Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings and schematics
Ability to generate controls submittals and drawings
Skills and Qualifications :
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in similar position
Technical School or Electrical Engineer degree
Electrical skills to include proficiency with test equipment, cable terminations, breakers, UPSs, motors, emergency generators, power distribution centers, and lifting and pumping equipment.
Advanced computer skills
Working knowledge of multiple systems via integration including protocols such as LON, BacNet, Modbus
Working knowledge of Internet of Things applications
Ability to read drawing details and maintenance instructions.
Ability to work rotating shift work schedule as requested.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently and as a member of a team
Physical ability to walk construction sites, including stairs and ladders
Strong understanding of commercial building mechanical & electrical operations
Capable of frequently standing, walking, balancing, sitting, climbing (ladders, stairs, ramps and the like as required).
Must have knowledge of Safety and Environment rules as they relate to maintenance.
