Due to continuous growth and expansion, Pharmathen offers a great opportunity for career development and is seeking to recruit an Analytical Laboratory Senior Officer to join our Innovative Formulations, Analytical Development team at our Athens premises.
As an Analytical Laboratory Senior Officer, the ideal candidate will be responsible for the smooth Analytical operations in the Laboratory.
More particularly : What you’ll do :
What you’ll do :
Execute routine analysis of the products in communication with the analytical lead
Manage and ensure that necessary supplies such as standards, reagents, columns, impurities etc. are available on time
Operate and maintain advanced analytical equipment and instrumentation
Maintain and follow all laboratory systems GLP
Provide lab training to personnel on proper lab methods, procedures, and techniques
Communicate with external suppliers or service providers regarding quality and technical issues
Coordinate the outsourced analysis (i.e., to universities, other labs & companies)
Keep the records of the internal warehouse and support companies’ annual records
Manage the material requests and transfer from site to site
Perform the more technical and complex tasks of the work ensuring compliance with laboratory regulations and maintaining laboratory accreditation
Work effectively with QC, QA, R&D, and other departments to help resolve issues concerning the operation of the R&D laboratory
The ideal candidate should have :
MSc Degree in Chemistry or relevant field
At least 2 years of professional experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry within the field of pharmaceutical analysis, Quality Control, and R&D
Job-Specific Skills :
Excellent communication in English language (writing & speaking)
Knowledge of cGMP, USP / NF, ICH, DEA, EU and FDA guidelines and regulations will be considered an asset
Competency in analytical methods and laboratory instrumentation (e.g., HPLC, GC, dissolution)
Strong organization & time management skills
Strong problem-solving & troubleshooting skills
Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects and meet timelines
